Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival May 2016
Next up, let’s take a look at the biggest free music festival in Australia; Blues on Broadbeach, which has become somewhat of a Gold Coast institution since it started back in May, 2002.
This year’s festival features an absolutely massive line-up, complete with The Bamboos, Big Daddy Wilson, Alex Hahn & The Blue Riders, Chase the Sun, Three Kings and many more stellar artists playing over six eclectic stages in the middle of Broadbeach’s pumping leisure and dining district.
The Broadbeach Mall stage offers enough performances to sate the appetite of even the most hardcore blues aficionados and it’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the extensive list of entertaining acts.
Importantly, the bustling event is very safe, well organised and offers all the amenities you’d expect at a major music festival, all for free. It’s also just a short drive away from The Grand Apartments in Labrador; the perfect base to soak up the sights and sounds of the sunny Gold Coast.
